  • Booker

    Booker

FC. PJ's Itsa Bet. #1 2007 All-Age GSP in the US. We feel that crossing show and field lines produces great hunting dogs. We own a 'Booker' son from his first breeding and saw the tremendous potential in our pup, Winter Creek's Ace In The Hole, JH. Ace finished his Puppy Point requirement in one weekend winning both the Open and Amt. Puppy Stakes at 6 1/2 months. One month later, he won both the Open and Amt. Derby Stakes. Ace picked up his Junior Hunter two weeks after with all 10s and a 9 in scores. So, we felt it would be smart to cross Booker on a very good Show/Hunting Bitch. See Litter #2 for 2008.

    FOR DUSTIN
    2/18/2003 – 6/17/2004
    Winter Creek’s Little Big Man

JUST A TIKE FROM THE START
    HE STOLE EVERYONE’S HEART

A COCK OF HIS HEAD, A RAISE OF HIS EARS
    HIS HOUND BARK ANNOUNCING
    THE “SHARKMAN” WAS HERE

WITH HIS LEASH IN HIS MOUTH AND
    HIS NORMAN ROCKWELL GAIT
A SMILE HE WOULD PUT ON EVERYONE’S FACE

HIS “SHARK BITES” ON YOUR EAR OR REAR
WERE MOMENTS OF ECSTASY TO ENDEAR

POCKETS WERE ADVENTURES TO ROOT AND DISCOVER
YOU HAD TO MOVE FAST TO DO ANY RECOVER

DUSTIN WAS SPECIAL IN SO MANY WAYS
WE’LL LOVE AND CHERISH HIM TO THE END OF OUR DAYS!

What once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose for all that we love deeply becomes part of us!

  • Gala at Eukanuba - 2006

    Gala

BISS. CH. SEVEN HILLS GALA PREMIER, JH.

"Gala" or "Lolly" was a gift as a pup from a dear friend and fellow breeder. She has had a fabulous show career. She finished her show championship at seventeen months. Her first year, 2005, as a "Special" in the Best of Breed ring, she was ranked the #18 GSP in the US. She upped the ante in 2006 and was #9. She has been to both Westminster and made "the cut" and Eukanuba twice and was qualified to go to the prestigious Crufts Show in England in 2008. We opted to breed her instead and we are VERY glad we did! Her pups are stunning!

    Gracee

CH. Winter Creek’s EZ To Love, JH

"Gracee" finished out 2004 as #21 GSP for Eukanuba and #25 in Breed points. Gracee needs one point to finish her Canadian CH. In British Columbia she took Best of Breed from the Classes and was Group 3 at their Sporting Dog Spectacular. She picked up nine points in three days! Gracee is Andy's daughter and Rowdy and Audrey's mom. Talk about a sweet, lovely, happy dog, she's it!

  • Marz

    Marz

CH./INTL. WINTER CREEK’S MARZ VON NMK, MH, CGC, CD, VC.
    1993-2007
Talk about special.... He was all that! He had the look of a REAL Shorthair!

"Marz" was Winter Creek's patriarch. He was our first Show Champion, our first Master Hunter, our first titled Companion Dog and in 2007 he qualified for the GSPCA Versatility Award program. At 14, he was still a bird finding machine. His last ring successes were Best Bred By Veteran Exhibitor at the Santa Rosa International Show in January 2007 and the oldest dog to compete at the Nationals in May 2007. He was and is my heart!

At the ripe of old age of 12, he fathered his last litter with "Gracee."
CH. Rowdy, JH, CH. Audrey, JH, Winter Creek's Peterbuilt, JH, Winter Creek's Makin A Splash, CD, RN and Winter Creek's Waltzing Matilda, JH were products from this breeding.

  • Rita

    Rita

BISS. CH. WINTER CREEK’S ATTITUDE TO NV, JH

Vocally expressive, eyes rolling, grin in place, she struts! "Rita" rules with an IRON PAW. There is no question in any of the “pack’s” collective mind that Rita is the QUEEN! Smallest but mightiest, she is the Supreme Being!

Rita’s call name comes from two of my favorites…Rita Hayworth and my favorite drink, a Margarita.

Rita is a large part of our foundation in breeding. She hit the show ring and won from the first time she entered at seven months. Finished at fourteen months, she was sent early to the maternity wing to begin building our dogs. She was outcrossed to the best. She is Madison's mother, refer to Litter #1 and Brent's mother. Brent and Madison are littermates. Refer to the Gallery to see Brent.

  • Rush retrieving

    Rush

Champion Winter Creek’s Federal Express, JH

Rush got her name from the way we got “the goods” used to make her. Federal Express shipped her dad’s semen from Georgia. She was a “singleton” pup, the first one we’ve ever had. She is the dearest and happiest of dogs. Her first weekend in the show ring at 7 months, she was not only Winner’s Bitch but Best of Winners to take her two needed Majors toward her championship. She won a prestigious third Major by taking Winner’s Bitch at our club’s specialty show, the GSPC of NSV. She needed one point to complete her requirements when our granddaughter, Nicole, then age ten, took her back in for Best of Breed. She was again Best of Winners and… Best of Opposite Sex to give her the final point! So, she finished with 4 Majors and Nicole finished her first champion!
